Founder and Owner of Six Senses Wellness, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and dedicated Trauma-Informed E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher and Therapist C-IAYT with a profound commitment to holistic well-being.
I work closely with clients facing physical and emotional challenges that impact their daily lives. My focus is on stress management, chronic pain, injury rehab, and mental health imbalances. Through the practices of massage, yoga and mindfulness, I have witnessed clients experiencing transformational changes that have led to greater ease, peace, and joy.
Massage
I graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy with a degree in Professional Massage Therapy, in April of 2002.
Certified in Medical and Therapeutic Massage Therapy, I am licensed and insured in the State of Florida. As a long-standing member of the American Massage Therapy Association and an Approved Provider of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, I regularly attend new courses as part of my Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and always look to extend the range of treatments offered.
I completed my Massage Internship for the National Massage Board, at the Norwalk Hospital Physical Rehabilitation Center in Connecticut, where I worked closely with doctors and physical therapists to deliver integrative care. My Massage Residency Program was completed through the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Specialized clients included the prestigious New York City Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, NYC Marathon Company, and the USA Special Olympics.
Contributing to various physical and mental health initiatives, while simultaneously creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters personal growth and healing, are not only my passion but also the guiding principles that shape my everyday life and endeavors.
Yoga
Registered as a Yoga Alliance Experience 500-hour Instructor and a IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) certified Yoga Therapist, I have a focus on trauma informed yoga for special populations including: Parkinson's, 50s+ functional health and wellness, 4-Phase injury/surgical rehabilitation, mental/emotional health and wellness needs, and resiliency training.
